Flex-A-Back

Rehabilitation  Model 511, 572, 573 by   BODYCISER®

Flex-A-Back: Rehabilitation ModelTHE ULTIMATE IN TOTAL BODY HYDROTHERAPY

SUSPENDED UNDERWATER RESISTANCE(TM) Utilized by Fitness Experts, Health Clubs, Y's, Doctors,  Therapists, Hospitals, & Rehab Centers Worldwide.

The Flex-A-Back(TM) Rehabiltation Model is a no-impact aquatic rehabilitation device, using a scientifically designed and Doctor tested system of floats and hinge panels which allows its users free, controlled and unobstructed arm, leg and trunk flexing movements while suspended beneath the natural resistance and gravity-free environment of water.

The Flex-A-Back(TM) Rehabiltation Model comes complete and ready to use, including 6 extra pieces ot floatation which provide varying degrees of controlled motion, lumbosacral support pad with strap for more neutral positioning of the lumbosacral spine, 2 stability pontoons, removable and adjustable straps for securing the patient, if necessary, to each float section, and instruction manual.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  1. Allows strengthening and stretching movements beneath the water while in a supine, seated, or vertical position.
  2. Allows lateral trunk flexion and hip flexion to over 90 degrees. The lumbosacral support pad allows for more neutral positioning of the lumbosacral spine. It is attachable to the upper hinge if required, via strap (see diagram on reverse).
  3. Allows exercises for all major muscle groups, especially the abdominal area. This provides an alternative exercising method for the patient with a history of back pain, along with other pathologies and conditions which would benefit from non-weight bearing exercise.
  4. Stabitity Pontoons are utilized for patients who require maximum stability or balance.  Pontoons can be adjusted or removed if required (see diagram on reverse).
  5. Use of the Bodyciser method helps keep the lower back in a neutral position during abdominal exercise preventing injury. Experts agree that this position is the best for the lumbar area during stomach and back muscle strengthening movements.
  6. Increases range of motion with little or no pressure to the lower back, tailbone and joints.
  7. Exercise intensity and motion can be increased or decreased by changing the amount of floatation cushions in each float section.
  8. Removable and adjustable straps secure the patient to each float section, if required.
  9. Can be reversed and utilized without the headrest if neck flexion is precluded.
  10. Allows continuous and combination exercise in the supine or seated position without moving the patient from their original position or stopping exercise. Reduces workout time and increases cardiovascular benefit .
  11. Creates a workable aquatic platform from which other modalities of hydrotherapy can be utilized.
  12. Portable, lightweight, weighs approx 6lbs. Folds for easy transportation, storage and comes with its own carrying strap. Nothing to breakdown and can be utilized in as little as 20" of water depth.
  13. Outer PVC shell resists sunlight & moisture. Floatation is the same material utilized in life preservers.
